Even though I’m excited about the London 2012 Olympics, my reservations on the brand mark and the overall design language and implementation remains. The one thing I do like, are the near acidic magenta and cyan colours which makes the games stand out, reminiscent of the Mexico 68 Games, where Lance Wyman created an equally initially derided brand identity that has stood the test of time rather well.
